PHILLIPS Annual Gala

We’ll be rockin’ around the clock as we toast to the 1950s at PHILLIPS Programs’ 2013 gala! Grease is the word at this year’s gala scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2013. Guests are invited to step back in time and enjoy the classic “Rydell High School” carnival with the Pink Ladies and T-Birds. The evening will begin at 6:00pm with a cocktail reception with a silent auction and basket raffle. The evening continues with a dinner and Live Auction. The highlight of the evening is a special presentation from a current PHILLIPS student who will talk about how he got on the right track to success. The evening would not be complete with out a school dance where PHILLIPS students will teach everyone the hand jive as our resident rocker rounds out the show.  The gala is a hallmark event that brings together PHILLIPS’ friends and community members to have a great night and support our organization.

The funds raised at the 2013 gala will support the New Horizons Fund, which provides funding to develop and design new services for current and future children and families that PHILLIPS will serve. PHILLIPS is committed to giving our children and families the information and tools to “map out their future.” Through life-skill development, transition planning, career education, and mentoring, PHILLIPS will invest in creating new partnerships and opportunities so ALL children- regardless of ability- can dream about and accomplish a rewarding and industrious life after school.
