CCEO The Community Coalition for Education Options is a
group of parents/families, teachers, professionals and others
concerned with keeping the full spectrum of educational options open
to children with special needs.- A Maryland group whose mission is to
maintain a continuum of services for special needs children
MCneeds is a nonprofit
organization that advocates for the rights of and improving the lives
of the disabled and their families in Montgomery County and in the
state of Maryland. Its members include parents, advocates lawyers,
teachers and many others. While its focus is primarily special
education MCneeds advocates for and addresses other issues that
impact the disabled population.
PGneeds An open forum for parents and advocates of special
needs kids. Post information, questions and advice promoting a fair
and equitable education and life for all children and youth facing
physical and mental challenges. Prince Georges County
SESNET Special Education Support Network SESNet Don't be
fooled by the high-tech name. SESNet is a friendly, people-oriented
support group for everyone who works with or is interested in helping
our children with special needs. We are based in Fairfax
County, Virginia. SESNet provides an opportunity for members to
network, share experiences, and learn from each other.
CPDCPSSES This forum
is intended for parents and others concerned about special education
issues in the District of Columbia. Participation in the group is open
to parents, advocates, attorneys, administrators, teachers and others
interesting in advancing the quality of special education programs and
assuring choice in the availability of special education services.
