Parent Requirements

To Become an Approved Teaching Parent, You Must:

• Have a loving family willing to open your home to a child
• Complete specialized pre-service training
• Undergo home study with 3 visits to your home
• Medical checks to include TB screening on members of the household
• Provide three written personal references
• Submit verification of income, insurance and marital status
• Undergo driving record, medical and criminal background checks
