What we are looking for in candidates for our paraprofessional and special education teacher jobs:

  • Do you have a sincere passion for working with children and youth with diverse learning and socialization needs?

  • Will you be dedicated and committed to your role and the PHILLIPS mission?

  • Can you show your sense of humor?

  • Do you have the ability to think creatively and “outside the box”

  • Will you be able to get the job done on good days and “not-so-good” days?

  • Currently have or are pursuing licensure and certification? (where required for special education teacher jobs)

  • Have experience working with a special needs population in a school or similar environment?

  • Can you provide 2-3 references or letters of recommendation?

  • Desire to work in a collaborative environment focused on the success of our students and families?
