PHILLIPS Annual Report
A Message From PHILLIPS Leadership
As we look back on the past year, we reflect on the many changes and accomplishments that have transpired at PHILLIPS Programs for Children and Families and celebrate the milestones that we have achieved. The 2012-2013 year welcomed new leadership to continue PHILLIPS’ long tradition of upholding the values we embrace. We supported hundreds of children and youth in reaching their full potential – some graduating from PHILLIPS Schools and others returning to their home school to continue their journey to adulthood. Through our community programs we also helped dozens of families to develop the skills needed to help their children be successful at home and in school.
We recognize these accomplishments as we strive to achieve them every day. We act with passion and purpose to deliver the highest quality special education and youth and family development services possible to ensure our children and families reach their full potential. Through our dedication to make a difference, we have witnessed our youth and programs achieve tremendous success as reflected in the stories on the following pages. Their resilience to overcome adversity is commendable and we have highlighted several of the many PHILLIPS moments realized that motivate us to continue our important work.
We give thanks to the unwavering generosity and loyalty of the individuals, businesses and foundations listed in this annual report who believe in our youth, staff and organization. Your vital investments in our community help ensure that we have access to the resources needed to accomplish our mission and we are most grateful for your dedication and support of our special institution.
Every day we seek new and innovative ways to ensure that we grow our programs to meet the increasing needs of the families and youth we serve. We look forward to the future with a new vision for a brighter tomorrow. This coming year we will be expanding our visibility in the community and increasing our advocacy efforts. We invite you to join us on this journey by connecting with us – sign up for our e-newsletter, volunteer, follow us on Facebook and Twitter or make a gift to benefit our youth. Your support, no matter how large or small, makes an important difference.
Charles Kehler, Chairperson Piper Phillips Caswell, President & CEO
