February 2026 CTE Newsletter

In this month’s Career Technical Education newsletter, PHILLIPS celebrates a transformative $300,000, three-year grant from Britebound to expand career-connected learning for our middle school students —bringing earlier exposure to career pathways, industry credentials, employer partnerships, and family engagement. We also spotlight students from PHILLIPS School ~ Laurel as they prepare to compete in the prestigious ProStart Invitational, hosted by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, already building advanced culinary and workplace skills through the experience. In addition, our longstanding Career Education Program continues to connect students with meaningful, hands-on work opportunities in community settings, helping them gain confidence, explore career interests, and build the durable skills that pave the way toward lifelong success.
