2025 Graduate Spotlight
Congrats to all our exceptional graduates across all four campuses who walked across the stage to receive their diplomas this year! Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence inspire teachers, staff, and loved ones around them every day. Below are snapshots of some of our incredible graduates.
Shaun, PHILLIPS School ~ Laurel
A proud member of the Class of 2025, Shaun began his journey at PHILLIPS School in August 2021. Shaun has consistently maintained strong academic performance throughout his school years with the steadfast support and encouragement of his parents and grandparents. Through our Career Technical Education program, Shaun has also successfully earned both his OSHA and ServSafe Food Handler certifications. He is keenly interested in building and structural engineering, often exploring how things are designed and constructed. Outside the classroom, Shaun enjoys watching anime and spending time outdoors, where he finds inspiration and relaxation. His curiosity, drive, and supportive foundation continue to guide him toward a bright future.
James, PHILLIPS School ~ Fairfax
James has attended PHILLIPS for 4 years. James truly embodied the spirit of progress during his time here. Two well-deserved accolades this year perfectly captured his dedication and positive impact: the "Busy Bee" award and the "Amazing Advocate" award. James's natural ability to connect with peers and staff and his constant presence around the building, lending a hand and sharing a laugh, made him an invaluable part of our community. Beyond his affable nature, staff witnessed remarkable growth in James's ability to advocate for himself and his needs.
Aleksandar, PHILLIPS Building Futures ~ Loudoun
Aleksandar started at PHILLIPS in 2022. After graduation, he actively participated in our hands-on vocational and building trades and also enjoyed taking part in some landscaping projects. He plans to work in landscaping and attend classes at NOVA to study psychology. We've genuinely enjoyed having him at PHILLIPS and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
